Our brand new wee hideaway shepherds hut is located in the Scottish Highlands surrounded by mountains and the most stunning scenery. Insulated for all year round use this cosy traditional hut is located on a traditional working Scottish croft with Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, geese and peacocks. The hut is situated in a zero light pollution area with perfect views of Ben Cruachan and Ben a'Chocuill This is a brand new hut for 2020 and we will keep uploading photos.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. The Nest is a lovely glamping cabin with an en-suite bathroom. Located in the grounds of Ardteatle this gorgeous little cabin allows you to relax, get back to nature, enjoy beautiful views, bbq, and at the end of the day enjoy a very comfortable warm double bed and en suite bathroom. The area has zero light pollution and gives guests the opportunity to get away from their busy lives and relish the local wildlife and tranquil views. Well behaved dogs are always welcome

The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway.
