Lovely, quiet, and private. Space as pictured. Enjoyed the patio space immensely with picturesque rural surroundings. Made for a great home base during a few days in Co. Claire.

Our stay at "Return of Swallows" was wonderful! It was exactly what my wife and I was looking for. Quiet, secluded, and beautiful landscape. We were close enough to tours destinations to make an easy drive of them but far enough away that we were not surrounded by busy crowds. All the people are so friendly and welcoming. The only people that came close to being rude were the other tourists! The house was very clean and had wonderful extra touches. It was also beautiful, well maintained, and the perfect blend of modern and antique. The rich history that Anne uses to decorate the home is so interesting and welcoming. It felt like our own home while we were staying there. My wife kept saying that we need to ask if Anne would sell it to us! LOL! But I am sure Anne gets those offers all the time. WHEN, we come back to Ireland we would definitely come back to stay at this beautiful property, if Anne allows us. Thank you so much Anne!!!

Loved our stay here. Was exactly what we needed for our base to visit cliffs of moher. The place was clean, nice sitting area with faux fireplace. Warm water and heating and all the amenities we needed. Anne was very friendly and helpful both at check in and checkout.

We had a relaxing Christmas week break at Declan’s, from the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable. It was a home from home and the countryside scenery view is beautifully serene. We arrived in a thick fog and the sat nav took us straight to the front door with no problems finding the property as is it set is a rural part of the countryside. However, you can be in Ennistymon town within 5 mins in a car or Lahinch beach in 15 mins approx. The furniture and decor is nice, clean and modern in all rooms and there are some games boxes and books left to use. There is a cooker and microwave and the majority of crockery and utensils to use. We had a lovely family Christmas dinner here. The heating and hot water is superb. Declan gave clear instructions regarding location and heating. We will definitely keep this property in mind if we need again in future.
