Wonderful flat Spotless Very Confortable Great Location Very Private Very Quiet Easy access to Town

Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Lovely spot in a really great location. Check in was very easy, the apartment is very clean and has everything you could need. Can highly recommend.

Valentina’s place was within walking distance to everything we needed. We never heard any of the construction outside. Very quiet. Entryway is definitely run down but the apartment itself is very clean and modern. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus! Overall would stay again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Andy was a great host – very friendly and always quick to reply to our messages. We especially appreciated the convenient location, being only a 6-minute drive from the train station. The free parking there was a real bonus, and the 25-minute train journey to Edinburgh city center made exploring the city very easy. It's a perfect base for visiting Edinburgh!

We found the house to comfortable and clean, the beds were great with good quality mattresses and linen. The lounge was very comfortable and a good size. It was good to have the drive way as the streets around had a lot of cars fighting for space. The house is in an estate that has some really run down properties/areas but the house itself is next to some nice friendly neighbours (Annie with the two Chihuahuas!) We found it to be quiet at night. The cons: quite far away from town, you could walk but it's about 30 mins. There are some niggly issues with squeaky hinges, dodgy door handles and a window that wouldn't shut properly in the bathroom, but these were irritations rather than deal breakers. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Mel was a very helpful and friendly host. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful break. Particularly good for the dog with the garden being fully enclosed and free to roam.

Only stayed one night but would recommend to anyone and we would definitely stay again. Beds comfy, great shower, outside parking and very spacious inside. Very clean and spotless. Private and peaceful location.

Very comfortable stay in Lorna and Richard's house. Cannot recommend highly enough, hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was provided that we needed, every detail had been carefully thought out. The house was perfect for visiting our daughter at university. Would love to stay again sometime. This is let is worth a visit if you are a family or in a group. It's a peaceful location with off-road parking. We all had a room to ourselves and there are nice places to relax in the house. We were able to walk 5 minutes to the tram stop and be in Edinburgh centre in 20 minutes or so. You can make the best of Edinburgh when staying. Usman is very hospitable and will meet and show you round himself. He communicated well for us and was flexible with when we could check in. This proved very helpful on the day! I would recommend staying here, it's a nice place.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Great place and very charming!! How was very nice and helpful. House had plenty of space, all the amenities you could want, easy bus stop access and close to grocery store. Would highly recommend staying here!!

The apartment was as advertised. The pictures were accurate great location. Only concern we had was construction started as we got there. It was unfortunate but beyond Samantha’s control

What a gem of a place. Perfect location for our spa day at Gleneagles. Beautifully appointed, the beds were so comfortable and we got the best sleep. Everything you could need for a stay away.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Gintare's place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great for taking the tram all over the city. The local restaurants and bars were great.

Great flat in a great location, with very receptive hosts. Bathrooms could do with a really deep clean- that’s the only negative.

The apartment is located 1.5km walk from the old town and 400m from the botanical garden. We visited Edinburgh for 2 days on foot. The apartment is very well appointed and there is even an adapter for French plug. the double bedroom has a small private shower /toilet room in addition to the master bathroom. We had a lovely stay there. outdoor parking spot for visitor, parking space on adjacent street ( free on we) Margaret was very clear and pleasant in her messages. We highly recommend it.

This is a lovely flat. very clean and comfortable with lots of characterful period features and furnishings. Spacious and bright. On quite a busy street but actually very quiet. Dora is a very helpful and welcoming host. I would definitely book it again.
