The flat was gorgeous, lush soft carpets, warm, bright, gorgeous decor and interesting books to peruse. Jane really has her eye in with hospitality and there were cookies and tea, a whole bottle of proper milk and orange juice. Lots of lovely touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is quiet overlooking the Mersey river, which is tidal and turns into a beach in the morning! Its a short walk to the ferry over to Liverpool (if its running) or bus to train /taxi ride over to all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment and we enjoyed the quiet away from the city too. Thank you Jane!

We enjoyed our stay and the location was near enough to the city and the Albert Docks. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. We would recommend and Nicci was very responsive to any queries that we had.

The place has everything you need, is thoughtfully set up and has a great view of the harbour.

One of the best airbandb's I've stayed in! lovely peaceful location just by the docks. The hosts were always friendly, proactive and helpful. I can't recommend this property enough, I felt right at home!

Pauline’s place is in the perfect location next to the North Pier with beautiful views of the sea and the most amazing sunsets. We worried about the noise after reading some reviews but the noise from the bars downstairs wasn’t too bad and certainly didn’t disturb our sleep or disturb us when we were watching tv. The apartment was spotless, had everything you needed and we would definitely stay again if we ever return to Blackpool.

Great host! Thank you Andy for all your help during and especially after our stay! Forgot my keys, and Andy responded immediately, personally went and found them and posted them the next day. Communication was impeccable! Also the apartment was perfect, exactly as described, clean, comfortable beds, great shower, and everything needed for the stay. Nice touch too having tasty biscuits, milk, tea and coffee for arrival. Albert quay and the city were a leisurely 15-20 stroll, (or cheap Uber ride away). Check in and check out were simple and convenient. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Ten out of ten!

Ed’s place is perfectly situated in the gorgeous historic setting of Hamilton Square which has a train station and ferry port taking you into the city in minutes! Ed’s place is right at the top but the views are so worth the climb! Bedding and towels beautifully clean, fresh and plentiful and furnishings are comfy and non-pretentious so you feel right at home. Ed is an attentive host, providing all you need after a long drive (sorry we didn’t eat the eggs!). He left out a parking permit for us and access was easy. Nearby Wetherspoons does a great brekkie and a walk around Woodside murals are lovely and views spectacular across the river. Nearby New Brighton, Vale Park, Birkenhead Park and Priory are worth visiting as well as is the city of Liverpool itself. Only thing we missed was a dining table but honestly that’s the only recommendation I can think of! Thanks so much Ed, we will be back 😊

Quiet and lovely in a great location.

Four members of my family stayed here over Christmas as our own house was full. They loved it. 'Brilliant. Great. Five stars,' was one response. Although it is a typical Oxford cottage and looks small from the outside, it is suprisingly spacious inside. Aside from the comfort , my family enjoyed the personal feel of the house, the selection of books, the charming garden, the location by the river and the thoughtful provision of a vegan breakfast. Everything worked well. We will definitely book it again.

Had a fab 3 night stay, great location for us, could walk everywhere. House was lovely! We didnt mind being in the middle of two pubs, both worth a visit. Thank you Debbie, hope you'll have us back again 😊

This beautiful Victorian style home is nicely decorated with beautiful river views. It was comfy and cozy, (although a little chilly during the day). It was so convient to walk to the main attractions. The immediate area is popular, so can be busy, but also easy to get a quick bite, or a beer. Overall, we loved it.

We had a great stay at this riverside townhouse in Henley-on-Thames. The location was perfect—right by the river with easy access to boat hire and plenty of nearby restaurants and pubs. The house was spotless, and check-in was smooth with clear instructions. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, though only two wine glasses were provided, which was a bit limiting for our group of six. The lounge had a three-seater sofa and two chairs; adding more seating would make it more comfortable for larger groups. The balcony, while lovely, had only four stools—two more would allow everyone to enjoy the outdoor space together. Overall, a clean, well-located property that could be even better with a few small adjustments.

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

We had a lovely Easter break in this house with our family (8 adults). The weather was perfect so we enjoyed playing tennis and paddle boarding on site and walked to the pub in the village.

A most beautiful apartment in a very calm area within 20 mins walking into Liverpool centre. When we were shown around it immediately felt like home. A calm oasis in the heart of a brilliant friendly city. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be returning.

Great little flat with a perfect view. Had everything we needed in the kitchen -we managed to cook a roast dinner at home one night. The sunsets are so beautiful to watch from the warmth and comfort of the lounge. Sue is fab and theres enough places to eat nearby if you want to go out.

We had a great weekend. Spacious apartment with lovely views. Walk to beach or into Hoylake. Clare gave helpful local advice & warned us about a local sailing event that might make restaurants busier.

Comfortable apartment in a great location - 5 minutes from beach and seafront with plenty of restaurants (downhill - not a problem for us but east to drive and park if necessary.) . Really appreciated the thought that had gone into making guests’ stays special with lots of thoughtful extras, including fantastic welcome hamper. Thank you! Much appreciated after a long drive on a bank holiday. Very comfortable beds- had a great night’s sleep; appreciated the music themed decor! Will definitely visit again.

A wonderful stay in a great apartment. It’s even nicer than the photos. The hosts were great, very accommodating, responsive and helpful. There aren’t many steps to the apartment and it was easy to get in and out. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again,

Lovely flat in great location - 5 mins from shops, station and the sea. Had all necessary requirements for 2 of us to stay in comfort. Plenty of hot water constantly. Kitchen equipped beyond normal expectations and with lovely fixtures and fittings. Lynn was very helpful letting us check in early and leave late and left us a lovely vase of flowers and a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us. All in all a great stay. Thanks you Lynn

Great location with a lovely sea view. perfect home from home for a couple. Beautifully designed space with everything you could need for a great stay plus a few nice extras you didn't even realise you might want. Rob is a proactive host, always one step ahead with helpful information and instructions. Highly recommend and worth every penny.

The photos didn't do it justice - the apartment was immaculately clean and exactly as described. Usually there are some items missing but this place had absolutely everything, even down to a hoover and a mop. There were ample facilities in the kitchen to cook a full blown meal and everything worked as expected. We couldn't have wanted for anything else, it truly felt like a home away from home. Shone was lovely and her communication was second to none. When we ran into a complication with our booking, she was friendly and incredibly helpful with a quick response time. I can't wait to stay here again!
