It sleeps 12 which makes it ideal for reconnecting with friends or family, or indeed for just exploring new places. It is beside church, shops, chemist and bars with off street parking. It is convenient to the Wild Atlantic Way with its selection of beautiful beaches, Cliffs of Moher, The Burren etc. Shannon Airport is just a 45 min drive, Ennis 30 min, and Kilrush and Kilimer ferry only 15 mins.

The village has a grocery shop and pub 🎻and is a 15 minute drive to Doonbeg, Miltown Malbay or Kilrush with plenty of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. 🍞

The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. Our home located in the village of Quilty is less than a 5 minute walk to the local shop, pub and church. It is only a few minutes drive to Spanish Point and Miltown Malbay and is centrally located to tour around all the lovely west coast of Clare. Also an ideal location to stay while attending weddings in the Armada and Bellbridge Hotels and so central for the Willie Clancy festival. We have stunning views of Quilty Bay, Mutton Island , the Aran Islands and Mount Callan.
