Monthly Rentals in Fanore

Lovely quiet secluded spot for a solo traveler or a couple looking to maximize their time in nature and get a taste of history. No one else around, but also only 15-30 min drive to get to shops & pubs. Really enjoyed wrapping up to sit out front with a cup of hot tea and watch the waves roll in. It is worth noting that - as stated in the listing - this is a historical property. That means some aspects of it are a bit 'quirky', including the fact that the toilet is tucked into the landing right outside the bedroom door, open to the stairs. It wasn't enough to spoil our stay (even despite the fact that my partner contracted food poisoning one evening), but if you're someone with a lot of bathroom anxiety or in a very new relationship where hearing each other pee will be upsetting then it may not be the place for you. Other than that, the landscape is stunning and if you're even a little bit into history getting to experience a taste of life in an original 19th c. cottage is really neat.

This house is stunning! We loved our time there, so peaceful and the views breathtaking. John was super responsive and so nice. Would stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area again!

Lovely place to stay in . Right at the ocean with great views from the house. Close to all attractions we wanted to visit . Lovely pub just 2km away. Sheila was nice and welcoming, place had all it needed to have even hair dryer. Mattresses were little soft however we slept very good . There are black out blinds in every room. Very quiet place and the views are just magnificent. Definitely will be staying here again.

Terrific homey atmosphere with all the kitchen and other amenities for a very pleasant stay. We stayed a week and weren’t ready to leave… will be back again.
