The setting is perfect for your seaside break. A bus stops at the door, while ferries will take you to the surrounding islands. A short walk from the town for wining and dining and the train to Glasgow. The apartment is roomy with a big kitchen-feel free to cook! There are great cycle routes roundabout and boats dock across the road.
“We based ourselves at Antony’s for a couple of nights for a cycling trip. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. From the apartment you can easily walk to plenty of restaurants - we chose ‘My Kitchen’ which was a 10 minute stroll away and the food was great. We plotted a couple of days cycling and easily got the ferry from Antony’s place across to Dunoon. We would highly recommend visiting this area and would certainly stay at this apartment again.”
Tigh na Craig (house on the rocks in Gaelic) is a colourful village home overlooking the sea. The house is owned by an artist, and so there is original artwork everywhere. There is vintage furniture everywhere. Enjoy vintage vinyl collection, dvd and cd collection, Netflix and smart tv. Free wifi access. We are 10 minutes from a train station on the "Harry Potter" railwayline to Mallaig. You can get to Glasgow airport and the city of Glasgow on our little passenger ferry and rail connection.
“Lovely homely cottage with big rooms and stunning views especially from the lounge. It's shared with the owner though it's divided up into two separate areas and feels like you have the place to yourself. Eleanor kindly offered a travel cot and highchair for our 5 month old which was very handy. It was our first ever night away with him and first venture out of home post-lockdown and we felt perfectly safe and comfortable in Eleanor's beautiful home and garden. Easy to find with her excellent directions and just a short walk to the village. Highly recommend!”
A beautiful completely self-contained unit with private entrance, sunny king size bedroom with a shower room. All new, lovely linen sheets, fluffy towels, comfiest bed ever and a private patio with table and chairs. Tea and coffee making facilities and a light breakfast supplied if required. On the banks of Loch Lomond perfect for a romantic night's getaway or if going to a wedding in the area this is a perfect space to get ready to celebrate and a wonderful bed to crash out in after partying!
“100% would recommend!! Exceptional location close to luss and Balloch and 15 minute walk to the outstanding duck bay restaurant, it has its own private entrance with beautiful and tasteful decor, couldn’t feel safer with the electric gate and the bedroom had its own wee courtyard which is perfect for waking up in the morning and having a cuppa in the sun. Furthermore, great value for money and the finishing touches and attention to detail brings it above certain standard to more of the expensive places I’ve stayed in. Overall fantastic would stay there again!”
