My place is in the historic village of Millhouse, near the beautiful sandy beach at Ostel bay, lovely country walks, Tighnabruiach and the Portavadie marina. You’ll love my place because of the log burning stove and the great deck. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and well behaved pets (£20 extra cleaning fee for pets ). Two pet max. It also has BT Business Wifi. If you are looking for a shorter stay than available then please let me know - I can sometimes do two nights.
“This gorgeous cosy little cottage was exactly what I was hoping for and more. Sheena has thought of everything and the wood burner was even all ready to be lit when I arrived, with a supply of logs and kindling too. Gunpowder Cottage simply has a lovely feel about it, I can't fault it, in fact I almost don't want to say how absolutely lovely a place it is in case I can't get the dates I'd like if I am able to return! The area is outstandingly beautiful.. little coves with sandy beaches within walking distance (I swam in the sea in October!)and had no rain and several days of clear skies and sunshine! Beautiful walks galore, cascading waterfalls, climbing and much more. You must visit Puck's Glen if you want to see the best waterfalls. And RED squirrels.. I've never seen them in the wild before. I recommend Gunpowder cottage 110%”
