Monthly Rentals in Lagavulin

Beautiful cottage, very tastefully decorated and everything you need for a short holiday. The garden is very pretty and the views out onto the harbour are lovely. Not many food / drink options nearby and the only grocery shop is a small coop, so take plenty of supplies! One small niggle would be that even though there are 3 tvs, none of them are smart so don’t have Netflix or apps.

We spent a beautiful Xmas week staying here with our dogs. The house was spotless and very well equipped. We loved the walk directly down to the beach with our dogs. It felt so private and yet just a short drive into Port Ellen. Catherine was always quick to respond and flexible with our arrangements- we moved our trip fwd a day due to the high winds & ferry cancellations. Loved it all & can't wait to revisit in the summer also.

The property is well described as is. Nothing life changing, although clean and enough space for a group of 6. Huge back yard for kids to run around. The shower took some getting used too, although once we had this sorted it worked fine. Fraser was very responsive and helped provide a smooth arrival. Bowmore is a beautiful town and is a central location to get around the island. With the most amenities on the island and pretty even drive times to both Ferries. The Bowmore distillery is worth a visit. It wasn't on our list before we arrived, but it should have been. The Whisky tastes great, views were amazing and the people were super helpful. We would stay here again, so may well when we come back in a few years.

Altho we didn’t need the two extra bedrooms, it was great to have an option. It was near one distillery but the others were a mile+ opposite directions. That said, we found friendly and responsive taxi drivers! Place might have been better for guest has a rental car. The updated bath and kitchen especially were nice . The yard was a bit deep for activities - But a distant ocean view from the kitchen. Groceries in port Ellen were slim. Karen was very helpful and friendly when we had questions.
