Monthly Rentals in Lamancha

We had a lovely stay in Rosie’s beautiful apartment. The flat itself was spotless with a really well equipped kitchen and everything we needed. So many lovely touches like the breakfast things (which were plentiful enough to do us for a dinner too) and snacks which fuelled us on some long walks. Rosie also had great local recommendations: Kailzie gardens is a must visit and we had a lovely meal in the very cosy Horseshoe Inn at Eddleston. The immediate area is very quiet and peaceful but 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Peebles. The neighbours are friendly too.

Beautiful cozy apartment and even better location. Stayed there for 2 nights family of 6 the house is very spacious with a well- equipped kitchen , 2 bath with amenities and lots of storage.

We absolutely loved our stay in Laura's home, and felt like we were leaving our second home when going. The cottage is gorgeous, well decorated, cosy, and just a lovely place to be. The surroundings are so so beautiful and peaceful, full of gorgeous wildlife and great walks. I also enjoyed a couple of swims in the reservoir - but not before checking with the locals on how to use the water safety and also with much cold water swimming experience already. The community at Baddinsgill are all so lovely and welcoming. We loved meeting them, especially the kids who wanted Carolyn to be their gran! If all that isn't enough, the cottage is easily commutable to Edinburgh and we enjoyed a couple of fabulous days in there too. Thanks you so much. We do hope to come back. xxx

Very comfortable stay in peaceful and beautiful surrounding. Easy transport to central tourist area of Edinburgh. Places to eat locally and facilities in the nearby town of Peebles which is a short drive away. Wendy our host was very welcoming and on hand to chat about the local area and places to eat and visit. The accommodation was very well equipped and designed, with a fast wi-fi link.
