lovely part of the world and lovely little bothy. The hosts were friendly and answered all our questions. The bothy is perfect for 2. The log burner was lit when we arrived which was perfect as we arrived in a warm place out of the cold. It all made for a very relaxing stay. There is good walking straight out of the door. Carolyn was an excellent host. After a very late booking she messaged to say everything was ready and gave us great instructions on how to get to the property and even before we left she’d sent a very extensive list of local sites worth visiting, walks in the area and a great review of the local restaurants and bars. There’s more than enough right on the doorstep to keep you busy for a couple of nights and it’s an excellent base if you had more time to explore further. Loved seeing the wildlife around The Bolthole, our little 4 legged visitor certainly kept the birds busy 🤪 Highly recommend a visit here, you won’t be disappointed.

The Still was in a great location, really peaceful but it wasn't far from the bustling town of Aberfeldy which had a variety of shops and restaurants. Bec's place has lots of character. There's a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and we especially enjoyed the decked area for a morning cup of tea, or a glass of wine after a busy day. The beautiful view across to the hills was a real bonus and Castle Menzies is on the doorstep and well worth a visit.
