had a lovely, comfortable stay. carrie was easy to communicate with, kind and very accommodating. the house is in town and very close to the station, which is a helpful. we didn't have a car but still spent an enjoyable day out walking. would definitely recommend a couple of nights if without your own vehicle.

The cottage was great... clean, comfortable, plenty of space (bigger inside than what you would think) and very quiet. Was ideally situated for us, visiting family in nearby Dalrymple. Would happily stay here again.

after a two week stay at The Lodge, my only disappointment was it was for work reasons not pleasure, as it is set in beautiful surroundings close to fabulous walks near by. Aileeens scones were to die for. lodge was spotlessly clean and perfectly presented, rocking chairs so comfortable i had to be careful not to fall asleep in one. Thank you for a wonderful stay and perfect hosting 😊
