Kid-friendly vacation rentals in River Thames

We stayed in Lucy’s home over a weekend for a friend’s 40th. The house was wonderful, exactly as described and perfect for a large group. The area is super convenient, surrounded by lovely cafes and pubs all walking distance from the house. Lucy was a fabulous host. Thank you very much!

Magda is simply the best Air BNB host in the world. I have used Air BNB for years but she is the best. I had a couple of minor hiccups on this stay and she 1) helped out at 11pm on a Saturday night; and 2) let me in straight away after I had locked myself out (doh!). No better host out there. She should be running The Ritz !

This is a lovely property on the bank of a lake at the Cotswold Water Park. Very spacious and unique and the hosts are very responsive to any queries.

We had such a fantastic stay at Karl’s place with our two young children (5 and 3). The house is comfortable, clean and very well set up for families with bunk beds, books and toys, which our kids loved. The location is great and we were on the beach within 5 mins. Karl was super to communicate with and very responsive and check in and check out we’re very easy. I recommend Karl’s place highly and hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay for Christmas with the in-laws. Matt was very responsive and helpful before the booking and throughout. The house is lovely and even nicer than the photographs. The communal space is spacious and well set out. It was very cosy and ideal for hosting the family. We couldn’t recommend more highly!

Lovely place and environment, great amenities and also close to bust stop and train station if you need to move around. Place was just as described.

We came for a weekend family trip which included my 3 year old. The property was a 5-10 minute walk from Colliers Wood tube and access to the property easy. The home itself was amazing! Well equipped and fab for a small child who loved sleeping in the bunk beds and reading all the books there. Colliers Wood is on the Northern line and is well served to other parts of the city. We used the Tesco metro which is really near by and enroute from the tube back to the property to stock up on a few bits. There was a Sainsbury's and M and S near by too which we used for our dinner the second night after a busy day sightseeing. The home was just so lovely to relax in after a long day. Peter was super responsive and helpful after I messaged to say it was slightly chilly and this was literally because the weather had only just gone so cold. Peter sorted the boiler for us and provided blankets just in case we were chilly. Great property and great host. Would love to go back!

Great 3 night stay at Paul’s apartment. Easy to find, with convenient parking right outside the back door, which is great for this ground floor flat. The place was warm, clean and very comfortable. The photos don’t do it justice! When we did have a problem Paul responded very quickly. Would happily recommend and stay again.

I have stayed there before since it's close to my daughter's house. It's a great place to stay, comfortable, easily accessible, high street is 3 blocks away. Eryn is a great host!

Great apartment. Close to the o2 tube starting and uber boats. Great car park easy to find. Photos did show double bed other way round not against wall. Which was an issue with parents getting in and out of bed. But lovely surroundings and apartment had everything you would need.

Lovely, spacious apartment in a great location. Very comfortable and convenient for our family of four. David was a wonderful host. He met us at the apartment upon arrival for a walk-through. He was highly responsive and courteous throughout our stay.

Compact and comfortable. Nice and clean. Beautiful garden and nature surroundings, whilst being not far away from cafes and shops. Peaceful. I loved waking up to the morning views out the front window.

Claire (& Luisa meeting us) are great hosts. A wonderful place to stay for a London live in experience. Buses & train virtually a minutes walk from the front door, one can easily access everything in London to visit. The house was great, beds are comfy and, along with the living spaces, the house provided a haven to regenerate after busy outings. There’s plenty of room & storage for a traveller, a family of standard size can comfortably spread through the provided bedrooms. Much better than a hotel! The kitchen adds significant value to the stay should one wish to prepare their own meals, avoiding conversion rate of the pound & significant cost of restaurants or fast food. We found the cost of groceries comparable to home & easily attainable around the corner. Where-as prepared food was at least double (and more) than what we would typically pay in Australia. This was a game changer for managing your travel budget, making the stay a rational choice. Laundry facilities also great.

We loved this rental! It was decorated beautifully, many amenities and cozy beds. The location is beyond perfect. It literally takes 15 minutes to and from Heathrow on the express. Jacob was very fast replying and even made arrangements for his cleaning staff to arrive earlier as we arrived early morn. I would rent this again on my next trip to London.😀

We had an amazing stay at Remi's place! The apartment was exactly as described - cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurant and the supermarket. Remi was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful with all my enquiries. The check-in process was seamless, and the space had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially loved how compact everything was! I would highly recommend. Thank you, Remi, for making it hitch-free! We will definitely be back when we’re in London again!

I stayed in Yvonne's place for my last night in London and it was the perfect environment for a relaxing evening. Great views, ambiance, and within walking distance to the tube where you can get to central London in 30-ish minutes. There's a cafe and a few grocery stores right by the station for easy, quick breakfast options. It was simple to get to Heathrow - also an around 30 minute tube trip. For solo travelers, I felt safe walking around at night in the neighborhood from the station to the flat (~6 min walk) and the building was very secure. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great place to stay that's relatively close to the airport but also can easily get into the more busy parts of the city

Overall a nice and clean appartement, had more or less everything you'd expect to need. Host was also proactive and friendly to communicate with. Would consider staying again when visiting the area.
