The room was clean and the kitchen was big. Worth for Money and great natural location

We rented out jennifers house for a girls family get together. The house was amazing with whatever we needed. Most beds were comfortable except one, where the mattress was quite hard. Jennifer was a great host and very responsive. Pubs, restaurants etc were just a short walk away. Great for a chilled time away.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

We had such a fantastic experience at Ruth's place - the house was so user friendly with bedrooms accessible but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the living areas. Lovely hot water for showers and everything was very easy to use. Ruth was a fantastic host who made it very easy to get into her house and let ourselves get settled as soon as we arrived on the Island. We love the location as it's a short distance from Blackwaterfoot with its shops, bakery and hotel and beaches. Thank you for a wonderful stay Ruth!

Perfect for our family trip with real sense of spaciousness yet by no means lacking in soul. Location with its splendid views was ideal and all 3 generations enjoyed saying hello to the young calves; Kate was very helpful and responsive to queries and requests

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. The house exceeded our expectations, with peaceful surroundings and lots of space for the whole family to enjoy, including a garden. It felt lovely and secluded and yet was a short drive from Rothesay and all of the amenities there. The wood burning stove was an added bonus, and made the place feel very homely. Ulrike was a wonderful and very thoughtful host, who even brought some games and toys along so that our young children had something to play with on rainy days. Overall, Balmory Stables is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

We had a really great couple of nights at Smithfield Farm. It was easy to find and the instructions for accessing the property were easy to follow. When we arrived inside we were really amazed at the size of the place and the facilities on offer. It was really spacious and well equipped. The bedrooms were of a good size and the beds were comfortable. It's in a very peaceful location, and we really couldn't fault it. We even managed to eat our breakfast outside. We thought it was excellent value for money and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to large or small groups. The accommodation is flexible. Drew responded quickly when we needed information. It's about 20 minutes drive from Dumfries House, which was the main focus of our visit.

What a lovely spacious family home we all enjoyed. Perfect location one way you can see the sea, the other the beauty of the rolling hills. We will be back one day I'm sure

I recently enjoyed a weekend stay at Nicola’s caravan in Wemyss Bay with my partner, Lisa, and our dogs. Despite the rainy weather throughout our visit, we made the most of our time and had a fantastic experience. Nicola was incredibly helpful and engaging from the start, ensuring a smooth booking process and providing all necessary information. Upon arrival, we found the caravan spotless and well-maintained, offering a cozy retreat from the rain. Its excellent location provided easy access to local attractions and scenic spots, which we and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring, rain or shine. I highly recommend Nicola’s caravan to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming getaway in Wemyss Bay. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. 

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

Lovely bank holiday weekend. Great fun exploring Dunoon and made it from Glasgow by public transport (bus-ferry-walk) 👍

Another great stay in Hazel's caravan, she went above and beyond for this trip as I forgot stuff and had a few mental moments, caravan was clean and lovely as usual, always responds quick, see you again next year hopefully x

Fantastic house - really comfortable and well located. The location is great right beside the shop. We also enjoyed using the leisure club, the claghsn inn and Skoosh. Easy access to the quieter side of Loch Lomond was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

It was a really nice place to chill. Personally, Saltcoats didn’t have a lot of what I look for in terms of dining and entertainment . The dogs loved the beaches nearby and because the caravan was so nice I was happy cooking and spending time chilling out there. I couldn’t have asked for more proactive and helpful hosts and they have made my first Airbnb experience a positive one. Thank you Gemma and Guy your place is lovely.

Excellent accommodation, extremely well appointed and Marcin was very communicative and helpful. We took our two dogs and encountered no issues.

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

Very pleasant stay, fire was on when arrived with some milk and eggs supplied, nice countryside for a walk, looking forward to next stay

Had a really lovely 3 nights at Fraoch. My daughter and I settled in straight away and felt comfortable. We had our dog with us and were pleased to see how dog friendly Sheena has made her cottage. The dining kitchen had plenty of space for a meal with 4 friends. The living room is really spacious and has two good sized sofas. The master bedroom is large! 😁 We weren’t expecting the “extras” and very much appreciated them. Fresh flowers were a lovely welcome too. It’s a nice (ample) cottage in a great location for us. We’ll definitely book again. Thank you Sheena.

what can I say that hasn't already been said? Wonderful comfy cabin with everything you might need & more. Very helpful host allowed us to check in early as we had travelled since 1.30am. Area is stunningly beautiful & took my breath away - lots to do within an hours travelling. We visited Bute, Oban, Inveraray & lots more. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic house - we had a group of us stay over new year and it was perfect. Huge social areas with a perfect kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Alan was so helpful. Would recommend!

Lovely compact flat which had everything you need for the perfect stay. Shereen was very helpful when we asked any questions and checked up on us as we were there for 4 weeks to make sure everything was going well. We very much appreciated that. There’s lots to do in Tarbert and we were minutes away from good eateries. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple who want to be in the heart of the village

Fantastic stay at the property, which was close to the beach and town centre, with an array of restaurants/ pubs. The property was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely touch having some essentials for our stay (coffee, tea, sugar etc). I would definitely stay at this property again; huge thanks to Andrea.
