What can I say…magic, pure magic. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. The photographs don’t do it justice at all! Most spectacular, breathtaking location and AirBnB. Derek and Iris were flawless hosts. Fantastic communication! Iris - what a star! She went above and beyond for us and she’s a fantastic baker! The house has everything you could ever wish for - it’s warm, cosy & clean. The views are so atmospheric they don’t even look real! It’s hard to pull yourself away from the view to explore the island, but it’s also worth it. Different sides of the island have a completely different feel - it’s rugged and wonderful. Many great swimming spots! We swam with wild seals! I really can’t recommend this anymore - the only heartbreaking downside is that you have to leave! Best holiday ever! Thank you Derek & Iris for sharing your spectacular home with us.

We had a great time at Julie’s cottage. We fell in love with the island of Lismore and the homely croft to come back to after a long day of soaking in the surrounding views. In addition, Julie was an attentive and helpful host!

Location is awesome…both immediate, locally and wider. Set on a great plot, two beaches very close by, Oban & Glen Coe both within short drives. Beds were very comfortable. Everywhere was clean and looked after. Didn’t want for anything. Walks close by kept us active. Bonus to have an EV charger on site- which we did use, though there are chargers in Oban too. We had a lovely stay…in a lovely place. A relaxing break.

First and foremost, John arranged a birthday treat for my partner as we were there for her 40th. This made our stay all that more special. The surroundings are stunning! My partner was treated to Highland Coos every morning (which she loved) (slight highland obsession 🤣) Our stay was superb so much so that John accommodated our request to extend our stay. We will be back again! The apartment is cosy, peaceful and is a home from home.
