Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Spotsylvania County

We had a very relaxing stay while our home was being remodeled. The house is as described and a very cool place to stay! It happened to snow during our stay and it was so beautiful !Thank you!

This was our 4th year renting this house for a week of fishing. My friends and I enjoy the location and easy access to the water. House is always clean and our hosts, Andrew and Chad are very responsive and helpful with any questions we may have.

Lester was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay. The house was beautiful and was an awesome space to entertain.

Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

Joseph was very responsive before and throughout the stay. The property felt very cozy and comfortable and private, which is not often the case with properties. Conveniently located. There was a heavy snowstorm which is rare for the area, and Joseph had the long driveway cleared straight away, and salted the walkway before it arrived. Highly recommend.

A beautiful setting and a well appointed house, perfect for group gatherings. The lake at this end is very peaceful, lots of herons and geese, and the surrounding water and marshes are gorgeous to kayak through. Kitchen has everything you’d need for any range of possible meals. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms spotless and include soap/shampoo dispensers, and we loved having a range of seating areas. The hot tub is a really nice one! A few things that may be useful for future guests to pack or know: the dock and deck have no furniture if you want to pack beach chairs (we did). The water on this side is comparatively shallow but fine to put a pontoon or canoe in. We did wish for screen doors on the many large back doors to enjoy the breeze, but used the screened in porch for that. Don’t forget beach towels! The upstairs living room doesn’t have a TV, though the downstairs one is huge (this was fine for us but others may want to be aware when they pick bedrooms).

The property was very welcoming and perfectly cleaned. The house was furnished with everything we needed for a weekend with friends. Kitchen had all of the needed equipment and tools. There were more than enough linens for us all. The supplied toiletries and kitchen products were much appreciated. We appreciated the thought that went into setting up this home for guests. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The next door neighbors were friendly as were their dogs. It’s hard to believe a home this clean is pet friendly, but we were appreciative to be able to bring our pets along for the trip. The owner communicated to us well in advance all of the instructions needed to access the home, door locks and WiFi. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome quiet room basement apartment. Very well kept. Clean and neat. Very good location for me nice neighborhood. Parking was easy. Private space. W back yard area.

We have enjoyed staying here on our last three visits to Fredericksburg. The setting is very private and peaceful, and the inside space is relaxing and inviting. Although there are only a few windows in the apartment, it is beautiful and bright inside and does not feel like we are in a basement apartment. The shower is huge and the entire apartment is always sparkling clean. We always appreciate the great communication with Debra. We highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful home and surroundings, and the pool was a much needed bonus. The place feels secluded but is located 10-20 mins away from many restaurants and other things to do, especially with kids (e.g., Funland). The unit was as described and pictured, and came with great amenities. Trish is super friendly and helped a lot with local recommendations for eats. Note: The hosts stay in the house upstairs. But you have privacy in the unit and at the pool. And there is a visiting peacock, Petey. He’s harmless and quite friendly from a distance. We cannot wait to return to this lovely spot!

We were in the big debate of hotel or Airbnb. We reserved in short notice. Kim & John's response was almost immediate which made the decision much easier as I was still on hold with the hotel. In the end, it was one of our top Airbnb experience and if we are back in the area we will book here again.

Fantastic host - was very flexible, patient, and accommodating when an unexpected event occurred. A rare trait it seems these days unfortunately, but very thankful for their understanding and willingness to help.
