A great place to stay, especially with the little kids. Lots of exploring to do in the beautiful yard. The swing was a great time!

Beautiful home! The kitchen and entire home was very well stocked . We had two families and felt like we had plenty of space. Great little view of the lake and a short walk down to the dock.

I have to say, this house really set the bar for our kids. Great big house, two living room areas, four nice-sized bedrooms. The kids LOVED the games (arcade, shuffleboard) and the kitchen had lots of great extras (salt & pepper, etc). Our dog also had a blast, plenty of space to walk her in the backyard and down the street. We walked down to the Lake, which was available to us but not really a place to hang out. Highly recommend the thrift shops nearby (Plum Pickings, for one). Would absolutely stay here again!

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

What a great home with everything you need. A perfect location off the lake that is close to restaurants and groceries. We really enjoyed our weekend gettaway and will most definitely look to plan a trip back if this location is available! Melissa and Jason were available for any questions but genuinely proactive to checking in with us if we needed anything during our stay.

We (2 adults + 2 dogs) went for Thanksgiving week; we basically had Lake Anna to ourselves -- minus 2 of Mary's wonderful neighbors. The expansive property has tons of room for dogs to run, and the two neighbors we met had friendly dogs. Humans will love the firepit, screened porch, comfy outdoor, furniture, TV, bbq grill & smoker. Inside, there's TONS of room. The beds are comfortable & bedrooms are spacious, plus there are 2 full baths (1 w/tub), and a beautiful "French country" kitchen with which my wife fell in love. The kitchen had everything you'd expect/need and more like tons of spices, plenty of boxed/canned foods, a waffle maker, a Keurig w/pods, etc. We remarked numerous times how wonderful it was to have all this at hand (compared to other places we've stayed). There are toys for kids and dogs, a canoe, plenty of board games, and several TVs. It was a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free stay in a wonderful home; we'd choose it again without hesitation. My family and I had a wonderful time celebrating my son's wedding at the AirBnB. We had such a quick weekend full of wedding business, I just wish we had more time to relax as the home was definitely inviting. There was plenty of space for everyone and all stated how cozy the atmosphere made them feel. I wish we could have turned on the fireplaces, but that was not a deal breaker. This was our first time renting an AirBnB and we did not know what to expect. This experience far exceeded our expectations.

This lake house was beautiful with excellent views. Eric was very communicative and accommodating, offering early check in and local recommendations. There would have been more to do in the warmer months but it was still nice for a winter getaway.

We had a great time at this history-laden property. There was something for everyone—farm animals and lots of wide open space for our 18-month old grand daughter to run around; very comfortable beds for daughter and son in law; historic charm for me and my husband. Keep in mind that this is a 19th century farmhouse that’s been pretty thoroughly modernized, though a few quirks remain in the floor plan. It’s different and fun, and the owner has lots of interesting stories about the property’s long history.

Wali’s place was nice, came with two beds I. The bedroom, a crib and two couches. Check in process was smooth. Kitchen and sink are separate so there will be some walking to and from if you’re cooking. There’s plenty of steaming services and a mini golf fan me to play at the entrance.

A group of my college buddies and I get together every year to hang out for the weekend, and this was a great place to do it. The basement was perfect for watching football, watching movies, playing video games, and pool. The hot tub was great in the cold weather. We really enjoyed our stay.

Truly the photos don’t do it justice! 11 of us stayed and there was more than enough room. Clean, modern, new home and the hot tub was a blessing after a long day! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding weekend! Thank you both.

Upon arrival at this house in Mineral, VA, we noticed the house's openness, beautiful décor, and thoughtful aesthetics, which reflected a perfect blend of comfort & style that immediately made us feel at ease. The house was clean & amenities well-stocked (as described) ensuring there were no unpleasant surprises. Bedrooms were comfortable; beds were cozy, allowing us to enjoy restful nights. The house layout was perfect for socializing for a large group & we comfortably hung out. The KITCHEN exceeded all expectations -equipped with various appliances, stainless steel pots, pans (& nonstick) & loads of small items – This level of stocking made meal prep enjoyable rather than a chore, helping us create lasting memories over shared meals. minor drawbacks— a few rooms were a bit chilly (extra blankets were readily available) & the hot water supply was somewhat limited – this was minimal compared to the overall enjoyment we experienced. This is officially our go to spot when visiting LOW. It’s great for a family of 6 with younger children and a pup. Everyone has their space to stretch out. The view from the big deck is great while grilling and watching the kids run around. The 5 kayaks were used multiple times a day! It’s a shorty paddle to get to the main beach and you always have a great view of the sunset.

Our family of 9 spent a week here, and couldn't be happier. Our groups ages spread from 12 to 84, and every one of us had a great time. However beautiful this home and lake look in the photos - it is even more so in person. We had a blast kayaking and paddleboarding, and took a few day trips to the state park, battlefields, and monticello. We spent our mornings having coffee in the beautiful sunroom and evenings with wine overlooking the sunset on the lake. Fred and Gette were extremely accommodating when we realized how close we were to our aunt and added her on for Easter dinner at the last minute. Great communication as well - it was really just a wonderful experience all around.

This was our 4th year renting this house for a week of fishing. My friends and I enjoy the location and easy access to the water. House is always clean and our hosts, Andrew and Chad are very responsive and helpful with any questions we may have.

Great place, great location. I grew up next to train tracks, so the "noise" jostled some great memories. The space could use some minor upgrades, but great value nevertheless. Plenty of hot water and the bed was excellent. Given the organized and smooth welcome, I was a little surprised that I received no response to my texts (making a minor request) after check-in.

I would definitely stay here again in the warmer months. The house was beautiful and the views were unmatched. We were a party of 10 and there was still so much more space and empty rooms. We went for a morning hike and played volleyball, walked to the lake, etc. This was extremely responsive! He is a great host

We stayed at Tiffany’s while house hunting, so having a space that felt homey and included everything a family needs to make a temporary home was important and this space was just that! They were very accommodating with letting us park in the driveway, and super helpful when we got many packages during the holiday season. It was close to grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown, while also feeling private and quiet. A great spot for animals too, with a fenced in yard and plenty of room to roam! Great price for everything you get!

This was the best airbnb we have stayed in. We celebrated Thanksgiving with 11 family members (7 adults and 5 kids) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everything we needed. The house was very clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was incredible. I enjoyed watching the sunrise on the dock in the morning. We will definitely be back. Thanks for much for having us!

The location is very private and peaceful, located in the middle of a substantial piece of land, surrounded by forest. Lot's of room for my kids and dogs to run around, unsupervised. the pond adds a lovely element to the space (and made for some nice photos). It was beautiful in the winter and is probably even more so in the summer. My only advice is that if you need to bring work with you, the internet is a little too inconsistent to maintain a virtual meeting, but perfectly adequate for email. Overall, it was a perfect getaway from the city!
