Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Spotsylvania County

We stayed at Bethany's house with 10 adults/teens + kids for Thanksgiving. The house was very comfortable for that size. We were there for Thanksgiving and generally had what we needed for cooking (only three wine glasses though) and grocery only 10 minutes away. We loved having two spaces to hang out and the pool table was a hit. The bedrooms had decent curtains to sneak in some afternoon naps. The house is well furnished, the beds were comfortable and Bethany was super helpful with any questions.

Easy-to-find house with a big, private yard – perfect for relaxing. The internet worked well, which was a plus. We did have to buy some basic essentials, but overall, it was a great stay. Would definitely go back!

A group of us stayed at Kate and Zack’s lovely house on Lake Anna this weekend as we had a nearby trail race. Beautiful house!! So spacious, so comfortable, gorgeous views, loved the fully-screened porch, even in the winter! We finished one of the puzzles PLUS one we brought (left it for future guests!) Loved our stay - thank you so much!!

We live locally but had family coming from out of state and needed more space to accommodate. This offered everything we needed and was much more spacious than expected. The deck set up is great as we had rain some of the trip so could still enjoy outside in the covered section without having to get soaked. Will definitely consider booking again when family visits!

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

House was fantastic and clean! The pictures are great but do not capture the true feeling of this spacious house. Love all of the spaces to gather! From the front porch, fabulous large kitchen and open living area, cozy back porch, open deck, fire pit and floating dock with awesome sunset views!! Perfect floor plan for family gatherings with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each side of the house. Great location close to the state park, groceries, restaurants - all while being right on the lake!! Wish my stay was longer and will definitely keep this house on my list of favorites!!

We (2 adults + 2 dogs) went for Thanksgiving week; we basically had Lake Anna to ourselves -- minus 2 of Mary's wonderful neighbors. The expansive property has tons of room for dogs to run, and the two neighbors we met had friendly dogs. Humans will love the firepit, screened porch, comfy outdoor, furniture, TV, bbq grill & smoker. Inside, there's TONS of room. The beds are comfortable & bedrooms are spacious, plus there are 2 full baths (1 w/tub), and a beautiful "French country" kitchen with which my wife fell in love. The kitchen had everything you'd expect/need and more like tons of spices, plenty of boxed/canned foods, a waffle maker, a Keurig w/pods, etc. We remarked numerous times how wonderful it was to have all this at hand (compared to other places we've stayed). There are toys for kids and dogs, a canoe, plenty of board games, and several TVs. It was a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free stay in a wonderful home; we'd choose it again without hesitation. This lake house was beautiful with excellent views. Eric was very communicative and accommodating, offering early check in and local recommendations. There would have been more to do in the warmer months but it was still nice for a winter getaway.

I enjoyed my two-night stay. The host and his wife were very welcoming and kind, ensuring I had everything I needed. The private suite was clean, as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. I would recommend 100%.

This stay is one of my favorite places. The house is super charming. Their theme of “the lucky duck” goes nicely with their “squeaky” clean place. (Pun intended). The hot tub was frequently maintained and sanitized, and was sparkly clean. Not many places have such a perfect house combined with a hot tub! The community was safe, with a guarded gate. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the rest of the house. These hosts are very thoughtful with what they provide the guests. For example, there was a step stool in the bathroom which allowed my kiddos to reach the sink. I could stay there forever! The kitchen is the cutest kitchen, with charming vintage touches, and every gadget/appliance/utensil you could possibly need. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival at this house in Mineral, VA, we noticed the house's openness, beautiful décor, and thoughtful aesthetics, which reflected a perfect blend of comfort & style that immediately made us feel at ease. The house was clean & amenities well-stocked (as described) ensuring there were no unpleasant surprises. Bedrooms were comfortable; beds were cozy, allowing us to enjoy restful nights. The house layout was perfect for socializing for a large group & we comfortably hung out. The KITCHEN exceeded all expectations -equipped with various appliances, stainless steel pots, pans (& nonstick) & loads of small items – This level of stocking made meal prep enjoyable rather than a chore, helping us create lasting memories over shared meals. minor drawbacks— a few rooms were a bit chilly (extra blankets were readily available) & the hot water supply was somewhat limited – this was minimal compared to the overall enjoyment we experienced. Andrew's place was a magical location. Everything was great. He responded right away and we loved staying for 3 weeks while waiting for our new home to be ready. The neighborhood is very quiet but very friendly. Waking up in the morning on the lake was serene. The location is amazing!!! Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. Very roomy! We would stay again for sure !!!

Beautiful home and property. Very spacious with lots of accommodations and amenities. Our family had a wonderful time and will definitely return again. Would reccommend to anyone looking for a private get away.

Great place, lots of rooms, amazing view of the water. We loved sitting on the gazebo dock and watching the sunset!

This was our 4th year renting this house for a week of fishing. My friends and I enjoy the location and easy access to the water. House is always clean and our hosts, Andrew and Chad are very responsive and helpful with any questions we may have.

I would definitely stay here again in the warmer months. The house was beautiful and the views were unmatched. We were a party of 10 and there was still so much more space and empty rooms. We went for a morning hike and played volleyball, walked to the lake, etc. This was extremely responsive! He is a great host

We stayed at Tiffany’s while house hunting, so having a space that felt homey and included everything a family needs to make a temporary home was important and this space was just that! They were very accommodating with letting us park in the driveway, and super helpful when we got many packages during the holiday season. It was close to grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown, while also feeling private and quiet. A great spot for animals too, with a fenced in yard and plenty of room to roam! Great price for everything you get!

This was the best airbnb we have stayed in. We celebrated Thanksgiving with 11 family members (7 adults and 5 kids) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everything we needed. The house was very clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was incredible. I enjoyed watching the sunrise on the dock in the morning. We will definitely be back. Thanks for much for having us!

The location is very private and peaceful, located in the middle of a substantial piece of land, surrounded by forest. Lot's of room for my kids and dogs to run around, unsupervised. the pond adds a lovely element to the space (and made for some nice photos). It was beautiful in the winter and is probably even more so in the summer. My only advice is that if you need to bring work with you, the internet is a little too inconsistent to maintain a virtual meeting, but perfectly adequate for email. Overall, it was a perfect getaway from the city!
