Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Spotsylvania County

This is a lovely and well appointed home. Before booking, I read all reviews which were overwhelmingly glowing. I concur with all previous compliments to the house. The few issues raised by previous reviewers have all been corrected by the hosts. For instance, the host now has a light at the foot of the driveway. If you slow to the speed limit, you will find it. If you pass it it is easy to take the next street, turn around and try again. Miss it again and that’s on you. As for the issue of locked closets, there is now a multitude of hooks in all bedrooms for your items which must be hung. Not enough space for toiletries? Not anymore! There’s an empty shelf, an empty medicine, chest,and the windowsill ledge. Need more room? Pull out the stepstool under the sink and use that. I never had to contact the host because there were zero problems. ADDED BONUS - an abundance of washcloths! Woo hoo! My last five Airbnb’s have not provide washcloths so kudos to Catherine Anne!

I would definitely stay here again in the warmer months. The house was beautiful and the views were unmatched. We were a party of 10 and there was still so much more space and empty rooms. We went for a morning hike and played volleyball, walked to the lake, etc. This was extremely responsive! He is a great host

Jennifer’s listing was a fantastic retreat for our weekend at Lake Anna! Not only was the place large, and close to water, it had many things to do (ping pong, galaga machine, etc.) which enhanced our stay. I couldn’t recommend this property more!

Lester was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay. The house was beautiful and was an awesome space to entertain.

This is the most convenient, spacious house I’ve seen available in Downtown Fredericksburg! There are so many destinations within walking distance which makes travel easier! 10/10 would recommend

What an amazing weekend spent. My friends and I wanted to find a place that felt like home and accommodated a large party and Kevin’s home did just that. The kitchen was well stocked, rooms were clean, and the common spaces were comforting. We had plans to leave the home and visit the Winery but we enjoyed the space so much we felt no need to explore outside of the grounds.

I enjoyed my two-night stay. The host and his wife were very welcoming and kind, ensuring I had everything I needed. The private suite was clean, as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. I would recommend 100%.

We have enjoyed staying here on our last three visits to Fredericksburg. The setting is very private and peaceful, and the inside space is relaxing and inviting. Although there are only a few windows in the apartment, it is beautiful and bright inside and does not feel like we are in a basement apartment. The shower is huge and the entire apartment is always sparkling clean. We always appreciate the great communication with Debra. We highly recommend this apartment!

It was great! Stayed longterm and it was a great place.

Beautiful home and surroundings, and the pool was a much needed bonus. The place feels secluded but is located 10-20 mins away from many restaurants and other things to do, especially with kids (e.g., Funland). The unit was as described and pictured, and came with great amenities. Trish is super friendly and helped a lot with local recommendations for eats. Note: The hosts stay in the house upstairs. But you have privacy in the unit and at the pool. And there is a visiting peacock, Petey. He’s harmless and quite friendly from a distance. We cannot wait to return to this lovely spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s basement apartment. This was our first experience at an Airbnb and it was an excellent experience!

We were in the big debate of hotel or Airbnb. We reserved in short notice. Kim & John's response was almost immediate which made the decision much easier as I was still on hold with the hotel. In the end, it was one of our top Airbnb experience and if we are back in the area we will book here again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb over Thanksgiving, and it was a truly delightful experience! While the property is about 8-10 minutes off the main highway, the peaceful and serene surroundings made it worth it—exactly the escape we needed. The house was immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook our holiday meal, the bathroom and bedding were spotless, and everything felt so comfortable. The thoughtful welcome basket filled with snacks and the fridge stocked with water were such kind touches, showing how much care the host puts into making her guests feel at home. Communication was exceptional. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, answering any questions quickly. By the end of our stay, the property truly felt like home—warm, inviting, and cozy. She even made the effort to meet us as we were leaving, adding a heartfelt touch to our experience. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect location for someone interested in historical sites. I was notified in the morning that the space would be available earlier than scheduled. Bedroom was large with ample closet space. Kitchen was adequately equipped. It has a drip coffee-maker and coffee, sugar, and non-dairy creamer. Kitchen table only seats two. Shower stall was roomy. Bring your own detergent if you intend to use the laundry machines. I was quite satisfied.
