House vacation rentals in Spotsylvania County

This lake house was beautiful with excellent views. Eric was very communicative and accommodating, offering early check in and local recommendations. There would have been more to do in the warmer months but it was still nice for a winter getaway.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely gem of a home! It was the perfect size for our large group of friends, and full of activities. Everything was in pristine shape, and the private dock is somehow even easier to access than I expected — just a single set of steps down, and you pass the cute and secluded fire pit along the way. Other highlights include the (multiple!!) basketball hoop arcade setups, and the movie theater room is just as good as the photos convey. The front yard is huge, too, perfect for organized outdoor games like football and kickball. The only minus I have is super trivial: the TVs in the home all had HDMIs but we couldn’t locate AV/S-Video ports, so there was no way to hook up the Wii we’d brought (for additional games like Mario Kart). Big thanks to Daniel for a 5-star stay. We’re already chewing on returning to this exact spot.

I enjoyed my two-night stay. The host and his wife were very welcoming and kind, ensuring I had everything I needed. The private suite was clean, as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. I would recommend 100%.

A great, cozy cottage on the lake built for families. Lovely screened porch with a swinging bench to enjoy the view. The week we stayed was frigid, we didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the outside spaces but you can get direct lake access on the basement level. The bedrooms are on the entry floor, each had a TV. The basement level also has a table, small fridge and sink and foosball and games. The downstairs also has its own living room with a TV and games and daybed. For families could easily see kids hanging out downstairs. The host helped put my mind at ease, she made sure to be available by phone/text to ensure we got in the home. We appreciated that so much! So many snacks and an amazing selection of bath supplies. Smallish, but functional kitchen. Only suggestions, provide a large garbage with closing lid in the kitchen, easier for longer stays. Overall, great stay!

We enjoyed our short stay. We traveled for a soccer tournament and it was about 8 minutes from our fields. Easy to get to and a lot of options for food and necessities near by. It was nice to have a place to go with room, when we are normally in a small hotel room. It was spacious and gave you a sense of being at home while being on the road. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The location was convenient. Beautiful clean home!

We stayed at Bethany's house with 10 adults/teens + kids for Thanksgiving. The house was very comfortable for that size. We were there for Thanksgiving and generally had what we needed for cooking (only three wine glasses though) and grocery only 10 minutes away. We loved having two spaces to hang out and the pool table was a hit. The bedrooms had decent curtains to sneak in some afternoon naps. The house is well furnished, the beds were comfortable and Bethany was super helpful with any questions.

Recommendable Sebastian, very kind and attentive to everything without a doubt and if we returned with my family we would stay here again

Great place, lots of rooms, amazing view of the water. We loved sitting on the gazebo dock and watching the sunset!

Cathi's place was everything as described. The house was clean and the location was perfect for a remote getaway - far enough to enjoy peace and solitude, but within a few minutes drive to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The lake was close enough to walk (if you're up for it) or a close drive away. Cathi's house had everything you could possibly need as well - toiletries, spices and condiments for cooking, and even supplies to do laundry. The house was spacious enough for our family of four, and one dog, but felt very cozy and warm at the same time. I would definitely stay there again if we're in the area!

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

What an amazing weekend spent. My friends and I wanted to find a place that felt like home and accommodated a large party and Kevin’s home did just that. The kitchen was well stocked, rooms were clean, and the common spaces were comforting. We had plans to leave the home and visit the Winery but we enjoyed the space so much we felt no need to explore outside of the grounds.

Our stay was great. Chad and the rest of the team were very responsive and kind. The place was great.. A perfect quiet area to rest and relax.

What a wonderful house and pleasant experience at the Riddick House at Stevenson Ridge! We came for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect. We will be coming back and highly recommend to everyone! Great hosts, quick and easy communication made our stay enjoyable!

Manny was super responsive to our needs and communicated well throughout our stay. Our stay here was definitely well worth it and was exactly what we were looking for.

We live locally but had family coming from out of state and needed more space to accommodate. This offered everything we needed and was much more spacious than expected. The deck set up is great as we had rain some of the trip so could still enjoy outside in the covered section without having to get soaked. Will definitely consider booking again when family visits!

Lester was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay. The house was beautiful and was an awesome space to entertain.

The location is very private and peaceful, located in the middle of a substantial piece of land, surrounded by forest. Lot's of room for my kids and dogs to run around, unsupervised. the pond adds a lovely element to the space (and made for some nice photos). It was beautiful in the winter and is probably even more so in the summer. My only advice is that if you need to bring work with you, the internet is a little too inconsistent to maintain a virtual meeting, but perfectly adequate for email. Overall, it was a perfect getaway from the city!

Tatyana and Scott’s place was very bright, cheery and clean! It exceeded our expectations. Tatyana was super pleasant and responsive to all of my questions. I definitely recommend this place!

Was a perfect place to host Thanksgiving for my kids, grands, and our pups! We had a fun and peaceful holiday. The grands enjoyed the yard games, roasting marshmallows, the hot tub, and seeing the many deer that frequently visited. Our pups enjoyed being included and appreciated all the toys and beds for them. We hope to return in the spring to enjoy the water! Communication, check in, and check out was a breeze. 5 star stay for sure!
