Highly enjoyable stay - very easy checkin, great location, very nice cottage. Really easy to get around (with car), Bostock bakery just 5 mins down the road Highly recommended for a nice trip away - Edinburgh was a 40min drive too

This is a lovely home in a beautiful part of East Lothian. The house is very cosy and comfortable. East Linton train station is just down the road and will take you into Edinburgh in about 25mins. It's the perfect spot from which to explore the local area.

A wonderful quiet spot to get away to and relax. Great location to use to go and explore East Lothian and the surrounding towns.

We had a lovely holiday at Howden Cottage which is a real gem. Heather and Simon have provided very cosy and comfortable accommodation for a peaceful and relaxing break. The cottage is very accessible to shops and services in East Linton (5 mins by car) and only 10 mins to North Berwick and the sea. The property was exceptionally well provided with everything you could need for your stay. We appreciated the gift of flowers and fresh eggs on arrival, and really enjoyed the wood burning stove one cold and wet day! Howden Cottage was a real home from home and we are already planning our next visit.
