“What an amazing place, the kitchen and living space is a fantastic space for all guests to spend time together as larger families or groups of friends and each of the bedrooms have been stylishly designed with thoughtful touches. The view from the hot tub is amazing and a fantastic way to chill out. Bea was great with fast comms and spent time on arrival to show us around and give a good start to our stay. beautiful scenery and nice walks around the property with local towns just a short drive away. Highly recommend and would love to visit again”
Self check-in is available if required. Self contained annex with spacious, south facing bedroom with access out to the garden which guests can use. We are 2 minutes walk from the river and can direct you to nearby hills and lochs where scenic walks can be enjoyed. There is a cosy, friendly pub just round the corner which serves lovely home cooked meals all day. They welcome "muddy boots, kids and dogs". We are dog friendly too so please feel free to bring your well behaved dog along.
“The Annex is a wonderful property and Gail was a superb host, she was on hand to give any tips on activities in the area and gave a very professional walk through of the property upon arrival. We felt comfortable and at home in the Annex, which was clean and felt very spacious. The sauna was an added treat, thanks again!”
Cute & quirky self-contained studio offering a peaceful retreat close to great hikes. It has a comfy double bed with a tiny floor space, enough for 2 chairs at the table inside. The wet room is small & kitchen facilities basic. It is idyllically beautiful, quiet & peaceful. Glamping at it's best, although the space is SMALL, there are few places this serene, with your own area of decking and outdoor dining with spectacular views. You are also welcome to enjoy my garden.
“We had a lovely stay in the little garden studio. it was perfect for our weekend away and had all we needed. the view into the cairngorms is lovely, and there was many nice walks nearby - we would recommend the standing stone circle, burn o vat, and glen tanar national park. there is also an earth house nearby from the bronze age that you can drive to and walk into. We were a little under-whelmed by the local leaflets of things to do nearby provided in the studio - the leaflets were all quite old and also of things that were far north, we ended up adding our own found in a local pub. The spider on a bicycle cafe was nice, as was at 'the sign of the black face sheep'. The extra duvet was needed at night as it was freezing, and even during the day in the studio we had to wear layers of jumpers and scarves to keep warm. "”
