“Betula really exceeded all of our expectations! It is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The photos don’t do it justice. The location is also perfect, in the beautiful Scottish countryside, with lovely walks on the doorstep. We really enjoyed exploring the natural environment and seeing the wildlife, we were even visited by a very friendly pheasant! Nairn is a short drive away, with it’s stunning sandy beach. Anna was very quick to communicate and came to welcome us on arrival. We were very comfortable in the cabin, the heating worked perfectly (underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom!) the shower had good pressure and the beds were comfy! I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s definitely one of the best Airbnb places I have stayed in. We have already discussed a return trip!”
We welcome you to Wester Lawrenceton Farm, where you will have the opportunity to experience the peace and tranquillity of a small working organic farm. It is two miles from Forres, with amazing views over the Moray Firth, which can be seen from the farmyard. It is ideal for people seeking to get away from it all, wishing to experience the balance between organic farming and the natural environment or simply wishing to use the farm as a base to explore the area.
“This is a gem for women travelling alone especially as you can be out in the country in a peaceful place and have the safety of the owners on hand. Forres is only 2 miles away by car and Findhorn only a 15 minute drive at most. A stream runs down the pathway/drive to the farm and there was a carpet of snowdrops this time of year. The room is lovely with a beautiful sunrise outside each morning, chickens and birds bustling by the garden too. The shower room is sparkling clean and warm and lovely to use and the kitchenette was a surprise I didn't expect! You can make your own tea and coffee, there is a small fridge and a hotplate to warm food as well as a small convection oven. You can be completely self contained or you can partake of Pam and Nicks wonderful breakfast with fresh organic eggs, spelt toast , butter and Nick's wonderful home made jam! Pam greeted my arrival with warm homed made scones too which went down very well with the jam! Pam and Nick are the perfect hosts, welcoming, friendly yet give you your own space. I loved my time there and will stay again when I need to. Highly recommended.”

“There are so many positives.... Extremely comfortable beds with good quality bed linen - hotel standard! A beautifully presented, cosy and comfortable property with lots of lovely touches. I loved the wall art. The property is fully equipped so, no need to shop even for the basics. The location is great for the town centre and also the inches and beaches. I really appreciated the offer to cover the sofas for the dogs. I would usually do this anyway so it saved me packing extra covers. The communication was friendly and efficient from start to finish. A small issue out with the owners control is the noise from the road in front of the property. Light sleepers should be aware.”
