The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. The Nissen hut at HMS Owl was originally built in 1941 by the RAF. The Owl is our family home and took us 5 years to restore it. It has been featured on TV and in numerous design publications. HMS Owl is pretty special as is the restored Nissen available to rent. The Hut is cosy, warm and private with large living space and kitchen and large ensuite bedroom. Beautiful flat, in grade B listed mill, with gorgeous sea views, situated in the quaint fishing village of Burghead. The flat overlooks the Moray firth where dolphins, seals and orcas are spotted. The flat is a 5 minute walk from miles of beaches and the forest of Roseaisle and a wonderful local cycle path and coastal walk. Please note this flat is on the second floor with no lift.
