Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

The Presbytery, Forres

The Presbytery is a private holiday home in central Forres, sitting opposite Grant park, Cluny hill and Sanqhuar woodlands. This traditional house offers comfortable accommodation for up to four adults and two children, including private garden and off road parking. The house is located five minutes from Findhorn Bay and the beautiful Moray Coast beaches and fifty minutes from the ski resorts of Aviemore and the Lecht. An ideal base to explore Moray, Speyside, Inverness and the Cairngorms.

Distilleries are all around the area in Speyside and Glen Moray distillery a 10 minute walk . I visit my guests to say a quick hello.

Rose Cottage is a spacious, modernised 2 bedroom cottage situated in a peaceful courtyard close to the river Ness and the city centre. Recently fully renovated it is bright with a contemporary style and some unique original features like stone mantled fireplaces. It is just five minutes walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums and the theatre. Inverness is a small city with canal and river walks and is a great base for exploring the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

The Nissen hut at HMS Owl was originally built in 1941 by the RAF. The Owl is our family home and took us 5 years to restore it. It has been featured on TV and in numerous design publications. HMS Owl is pretty special as is the restored Nissen available to rent. The Hut is cosy, warm and private with large living space and kitchen and large ensuite bedroom. Number 7 is a stylish cottage in the sought after west end of Elgin. It is just a short walk from the city’s vibrant array of cafes, bars, restaurants and the home of Gordon&MacPhail for the whisky lovers. Recently refurbished with traditional features, including the original cast iron roll top bath for which we highly recommended a relaxing dip with lots of bubbles. This is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Moray Coast, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.

Taighsona Bothy is located in the heart of Speyside, with incredible views out over Ben Rinnes and the Convals. We are peacefully situated only a few minute’s walk from Archiestown and on the famous Malt Whisky Trail. Aberlour and the famous Speyside Way are a short walk down through the stunning countryside and forest. Dufftown and Craigellachie are a few minutes drive away.
