Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Galway

We were in this wonderful place during our 2-week tour of Ireland! Our goal was to stay as secluded and unique as possible. We succeeded with this bus. Wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. The nearby pub was great! Therefore, the food was also great!

Knights cottage is a beautiful original cottage which has been updated to a high standard with everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer,well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms. Very homely, warm with beautiful views of Lough Mask, within a few minutes walk away. We stayed as a family of 5 for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thankyou Maura for being so accommodating and welcoming.

Karen was very nice and showed us her castle. Friendly dogs and fun to have chickens. The single room in the back of the residence was chilly, but we managed. Be sure to use the fireplace to stay warm!

A beautiful and charming cottage with all the necessities. A huge wooden terrace, a quiet neighborhood, nice and welcoming people. A perfect place and very well positioned around lots of activity. We highly recommend them. A big 👍

Judy was very hospitable and friendly, we were greeted with homemade brown bread and a delivery of freshly home grown vegetables the morning after. Judy gave us ideas of where to go and places to see and a great rundown of how to use the amenities. The house was cosy and homely with an amazing view of Lough Mask. We would highly recommend staying here to all our family, friends and their furry friends. Aoife

Not enough words available to describe our experience with the host and the place. Hugh went out of his way for everything we asked for. He even brought down sheeps for my kids to see and gave them an unforgettable experience. He gave amazing recommendations for scenic drives and places. Everything was just perfect. I would suggest anyone booking that you make sure weather is sunny or dry. Because the scenery is breathtaking. Even if you don’t go any places, staying in the house is also worth it. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. For my kids, first time they were sad that the holidays ended. Thanks to Hugh and his lovely boys. Our trip was worth every penny.

Lovely ambience, completely into nature. They got my kids loved the place a lot, they got Beautifull farm land with sheep's, horses, hens and woods to walk in with kids play area.

Had a lovely time with my friends at Darragh’s cottage. Check in was smooth, albeit we were a bit late and Ellen was waiting around for us, fair play to her for her patience and friendliness upon check-in. She also went out of her way to bake us fresh batch of scones, how nice!!!Darragh was very communicative from start to finish. The cottage is in a very peaceful area, we heard an owl screeching at night! (not sure what type though). It’s a beautiful spot if you are fond of birding or would like a peaceful night away. There is also quite a lot of history surrounding the house, the walls are adorned with very interesting photos and snippets of the past. The house is very easy to find and is within driving distance to Ennis and Killimer. Thank you Darragh and Ellen!
