Our three warm and cosy pods are situated behind the main farm steading in a quiet setting away from the road and next to a small beck. The pods all have underfloor heating so you are guaranteed to be warm no matter the season. With excellent access from junction 36 of the M6, we are situated at the top of the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, with views down towards Windermere Lake. Cosy Accommodation at Mill Cottage Bunkhouse!

Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is situated in Nenthead, one of the highest villages in England, standing at 1,500ft above sea level. It is nestled within the stunning Northern Pennines (AONB) UNESCO Global Geopark and sits next to the historic Nenthead Mines site, which was once a major centre for lead and silver mining. Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is on the C2C cycle route, it is also next to Isaac’s Tea Trail and only a drive away from the Lake District, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers.

Mary Meadows - Character Lakeland Barn Conversion

Mary Meadows is a traditional lakeland barn conversion located in Dockray, near Ullswater in the Lake District national park. The property offers character and charm whilst providing all the comforts of modern living. It is ideally suited for families with children, couples wishing to stay together or for one couple. There is a pub in the village serving good local food and drinks, and lots of activities in surrounding area, including low level and high mountain walks right from the doorstep.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.
