We are situated in a very quiet part of Northumberland with excellent walking and cycling from site. The Pennine way is a field away, we have disused railway lines with viaduct and riverside walks. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.
